STOP-MOTION ANIMATION
In this course students will learn the fundamentals of animation by creating their own stop motion videos. Students will also learn storyboarding, claymation, and puppet animation. In this course students will explore what makes films funny! Students will ultimately produce and edit a short stop-motion film using a professional camera, lights, and sound.

Whether the course focuses on documentary, narrative, animation or other storytelling mediums, all Reel Works courses include a significant amount of time exploring story structure, personal voice, and the importance of artistic choices. MediaMKRS Badges are awarded in all classrooms to assist and celebrate student filmmaking skills. Practical, hands-on, exercises in each course keep students engaged as they learn to master filmmaking technology. All our workshop courses are taught by filmmakers, with a background in education, who receive professional development and training through our own Teaching Artist University.
