Movie of the Week: REMEMBER By Wendy Cantoran

“My biggest fear, when it comes to my family, is about my parents. That one day, they’ll die without me seeing them alive again. It’ll be twenty years soon since I have seen them.” Wendy Cantoran’s film “REMEMBER” is a film about how the 2016 election impacted her, her mother and how she learned to cope through all of it. Wendy shared, “I learned that in order to get the full story you need to add a bunch of tiny pieces together that will initially seem to not fit in.” In her film, Wendy interviewed her classmates and friends to talk about immigration issues and how other children from undocumented parents feel about the possibility of being separated from their families.Reel Works presents “Movie of the Week” to showcase the exemplary films made by our young filmmakers.
