The Reel Works Corporate Media Council brings together companies that are focused on building an inclusive and diverse film and television industry.


Viacom creates original entertainment content for every audience, on every screen around the world. Viacom Media Networks brands include Comedy Central, MTV, VH-1, Nickelodeon and BET Networks. As a Lead Corporate Media Council Member, Viacom provides mentoring, internships and opportunities for Reel Works filmmakers to imagine – and pursue – careers in media. Viacom is the lead sponsor of Reel Impact, through which teen filmmakers learn to share their stories and reach new audiences across all media.


BBDO is a worldwide advertising agency with its headquarters in New York City.  BBDO creatives and account executives teach Reel Works filmmakers about storytelling, humor and how to translate their ideas into messages that inspire millions.   Along the way, they learn about advertising and the broader landscape of media careers open to them.
